Arts Commission to Hold Public Meeting on Future of Bergamot Art Center

The Arts Commission of the City of Santa Monica will hold a special meeting on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10am to discuss the proposals for development of the Bergamot Art Center prior to the City Council’s consideration of the same on Tuesday, August 26th. The Commission invites members of the public to attend and comment.

Staff from the City’s Housing and Economic Development Department, as well as the Cultural Affairs Division, will be in attendance to help answer questions about the multi-year community planning process leading to the RFP for developers and the overall guiding public policy objectives governing the site's designation as a community cultural center.

Ocean Park Association is a nonprofit, volunteer group of neighbors dedicated to working for the interests of all residents of Ocean Park in Santa Monica, California. We represent people living and working from the beach to Lincoln Boulevard and between Pico Boulevard and the southern city limits.
